CUSTOMER TERMS OF SERVICE & AGREEMENT
PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY
THIS AGREEMENT APPLIES FOR ALL RESERVATIONS MADE THROUGH THE STUDENTUNIVERSE NETWORK. THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS LAID OUT IN THIS DOCUMENT CONSTITUTE THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU, THE END USER AND STUDENTUNIVERSE.
THE SERVICE
1. StudentUniverse.com enables the instant booking and payment (full or 10% deposit) of travel accommodation through our website http://www.studentuniverse.com/hotels.html and that of our affiliate site/s.
2. Anybody can book accommodation with StudentUniverse Hotels, you don’t have to be a student!
3. On the booking of any accommodation you will recieve a reference number and a booking confirmation email from hotelinfo@studentuniverse.com . We advise you also print the on screen confirmation.
If you require your confirmation email to be re-sent contact us at helpdesk@studentuniverse.com.
4. The booking confirmation email or reference number must be given to the accommodation provider at check-in. Failure to produce either may result in the hotel not honouring the reservation.
5. To avoid any issues arising StudentUniverse.com strongly recommend that you, the end user, confirm with the accommodation provider the exact terms of service in connection with your booking before arrival. The confirmation number can be used here as identification.
6. All accommodation details and contact information are printed on your booking confirmation email.
7. All reservation changes and updates should be made directly with StudentUniverse.com but all other arrangements such as airport pick up, are made directly with the accommodation supplier.
PAYMENTS
1. A credit or debit card must be used to confirm any booking. By making the reservation with a credit/debit card you authorize StudentUniverse.com to make a charge against this card.
2. StudentUniverse.com and affiliates may charge an online booking fee between 0 €/$ - 3 €/$ per person or per booking. This fee is non refundable.
3. You, the end user, are responsible to the accommodation provider for payment of the remaining owed balance of the booking, together with any charges for additional services subsequently contracted and, where applicable, any service charges or tax.
4. StudentUniverse.com accepts no responsibility for any extra expenses that may arise due to any exceptional circumstances, extra hotel taxes and fees, cancellations or charges from your bank or credit card company.
5. In securing the reservation with your credit card details the end user confirms that they are over the age of eighteen (18) and that they are solely responsible for the remainder of the payment to the accommodation provider upon arrival.
AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATION
1. Any changes to bookings must be made directly with StudentUniverse.com. But StudentUniverse.com does not mitigate any issues that may arise between customers and the accommodation provider.
2. The supplier type will appear on the website and at the beginning of your confirmation number.
3. Cancellations must be made 48hrs before 12.00am on the arrival date or shall be counted as a late cancellation. For example if the arrival date is the 4th of January, cancellation must be made by the 1st of January.
4. If a guest fails to show up on the booked arrival date, or shows up late without informing the hotel, the accommodation provider has the right to refuse the booking and report it as a no-show.

1. Cancellations incur the loss of 10% deposit and any booking fees.
2. Cancellations must be made 48hrs prior to the arrival date. If you fail to contact StudentUniverse.com, and cancel within the allotted time period, and/or do not show up, your credit/debit card will be charged for the amount of one night's accommodation.
3. Please send all amendments to StudentUniverse.com. Any changes are at the discretion of the supplier.
4. This purchase will appear on your Credit Card statement as: Travelonomy.com 8002729676
Supplier Type: All references that are just numbered i.e. 10295382417 (no letters)
1. All cancellations incur a cancellation charge of $25.00 per room type and any booking fees.
2. Cancellations must be made 48hrs prior to the arrival date. If you fail to contact StudentUniverse.com, and cancel within the allotted time period your credit/debit card will be charged the cancellation fee of $25.00 per room type and for the amount of one night's accommodation.
3. No refund or cancellation is permitted after 12pm local time on your arrival date. Failure to cancel your reservation results in the loss of the full payment.
4. This supplier does not except amendments, you must cancel the booking directly with StudentUniverse.com and re-make the reservation online.
5. This purchase will appear on your Credit Card statement as: “HBC*HOTEL RESERVATION” or Travelonomy.com 8002729676

PROGRAM POLICIES
1. StudentUniverse.com does not accept any responsibility for incorrect property content including prices, availability and images; this is solely the responsibility of the accommodation provider.
2. StudentUniverse.com categorizes properties by Accommodation Type. While StudentUniverse.com tries to verify each provider's accommodation type accurately it is the responsibility of you, the end user, to judge whether the accommodation meets your needs. If there are any queries pre booking please contact StudentUniverse.com directly via our customer support centre.
3. The StudentUniverse.com platform will not be used by the end user for anything other than that which is expressly set out in these Terms of Service.
4. We do not accept any liability for losses, additional expenses you incur, and or any claim whatsoever due to changes in the accommodation provided, sickness, adverse weather conditions, strikes, Acts of God, or for any other reason.
5. StudentUniverse.com do not except any liability for booking errors on the confirmation email that are not brought to our attention within 72hrs of the arrival date, unless the error was impossible to detect at this time.
6. If you have any medical problems or a disability that may affect your stay at a particular property you must contact StudentUniverse.com prior to the booking so that we may check your requirements with the accommodation. Failure to do so may event in a loss of payment.
7. If you have any medical problems or disabilities that the accommodation needs to be aware of please contact them directly prior to your arrival.
8. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with the service provided to you during your stay please contact the accommodation provider directly to resolve the issue. After if you feel the problem was not resolved please contact our support team.
GENERAL
1. StudentUniverse.com may link to/from websites operated by third parties. StudentUniverse.com do not control or have any responsibility for these sites and will not be held accountable for any information, software or content placed on other websites or blogs. If anything is to your distaste please contact immediately on hotelsupport@studentuniverse.com
2. If any provision in these Terms of Service is agreed to be unenforceable by both parties the provision will be modified by StudentUniverse.com. All other provisions in this Agreement will remain in full effect.
3. StudentUniverse.com reserves the right to change the Terms of Service at anytime without written notice. This shall not affect the terms of service agreed to by you, the end user at the time of booking.
4. StudentUniverse.com's failure to uphold any of the terms laid out in this document does not waiver any of the terms or rights of either party.
5. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Ireland except for its conflicts of laws principles. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be adjudicated in Dublin, Ireland.
6. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you, the end user and StudentUniverse.com, and precede any other agreement, be it verbal, by email or written. A version of these terms will always be visible on the StudentUniverse.com website.
COPYRIGHT
1. Content on the StudentUniverse.com website including images, software, graphics and text are protected by international copyright law. Our content may not be used by any person without express written consent from StudentUniverse.com.
2. StudentUniverse.com do their up most to ensure our content is correct but can not guarantee that it is completely free of fault and StudentUniverse.com does not accept any liability for any oversight or error on the StudentUniverse.com platform. Any violation of the StudentUniverse.com website, content or software may result in severe legal action. Please contact us directly on hotelinfo@studentuniverse.com if something is found to be incorrect.
3. StudentUniverse.com makes all reasonable efforts to ensure the security of your credit/debit card details but will except no responsibility for any damage or losses in connection with this use, subject only to any statutory rights that you may have.
PRIVACY POLICY
1. StudentUniverse.com will collect personal data about guests and pass on all the required information to the accommodation in order to process the booking. This information may contain details such as your name, e-mail, phone no., home address and payment details.
2. StudentUniverse.com guarantees security and confidentiality of any personal details submitted but may disclose booking information to third parties for promotional and analysis purposes. StudentUniverse.com will not, at any time, reveal personal names, emails or credit card details to third parties that are not directly involved in the booking.
3. If the owner of information held by StudentUniverse.com would like to exercise the right to update or delete their personal information in our system, please contact hotelsupport@studentuniverse.com
This agreement shall commence on selection of the Terms of Service check box. This serves as the end users electronic signature and states that they are in agreement with all the Terms & Conditions laid out in this agreement.
